OK, here we go, the drink of champions, the Glucose enriched Vitamin C supplement, let me tell you a story about TANG.

Tang
is delicious.  Tang has a fresh, crisp taste that you can enjoy any time of the day.  Tang is easy to prepare and easy to store!

OK, lets have a look at this opening statement of
Tang!

YES it is delicious (damn tootin)
YES it does have a fresh, crisp taste that you can enjoy any time of the day (what is this an ad written in 1940? Yes any time of the day, ha ha even drink it while pulling out those weeds or talking to your neighbours! Ha ha!)
YES it is easy to prepare (spoon and stir!) and
YES it is easy to store (it comes in a jar!)

So you dont know what
TANG is, well youre gonna find out now!  TANG is a vitamin C supplement that when used as directed (not like I did, more on that later) each 100mls of this Food? Contains 60mg of Vitamin C which is twice the daily allowance of Vitamin C.

The Origin of TANG!

Now for those of you who dont know,
TANG was originated in Chad in Africa, now sounds unbelievable, but true.  This was discovered one day when the lack of water in the region of Chad caused their plentiful Orange trees to dry out, leaving the oranges dishevelled and dehydrated.   When on a quest to find himself one day a certain Chadian named Clickety Clack (thats Chadonese) or CC to his mates stepped on one of the fallen oranges.  A dry orange powder had now surrounded his foot. Click, click, clakety clack click he exclaimed.  Tang was born.

Seeing a market for such a thing, he continued his quest to find more of these Oranges, he collected as many as he could over the following weeks and took them back to his tribe.   Clickety clickety clack clack his father exclaimed, Clack clack clack click the son said, the tribe was as loud as ever heard before.  Clicks and clacks everywhere, and it wasnt until one day That Clickety Clack tripped over and dropped some of his powdered orange into their last bucket of water that
Tang was officially discovered.   Until then the tribe had just been feasting on the powder but the discovery of mixing it with water changed their lives!

Clickety Clack had to make this a possibility for everyone to try, so he built a factory and started to make
Tang.  Now the first few batches of Tang werent that good, probably due to their dirty sweaty feet crushing the oranges, but once the machines came in, it was all good!

Tang was shipped worldwide and was so loved by the world that even NASA used it for its astronauts in the Gemini mission.  Now a worldwide phenomenon, Tang is a house hold name, and those houses without the Tang name in it, go get it.

Wondering how it got its name?  Im glad you asked.  Clickety Clack decided on
Tang to preserve the memory of the initial making of the drink.  The Feet and Oranges mix to give a delicate yet Tangy taste, hence Tang, but if youre ever lucky enough to visit Chad, which I one day hope to, pick up a jar, in Chad its called Clicketh.

When drinking this amazing drink, think of the toil, the sweat, the tears that went into the process of making this drink for one reason only, to help the world and to impress your friends!
