"Making your childhood dreams come true means having to give up being a child"
~Yoko Shibano (from "Metal Fighters Miku")
True, Metal Fighters Miku is about a team of female, Neo-Pro Wrestlers who achieve great heights in the Neo-Pro Wrestling world. However, there's so much more to it then that! Not only does this show inspire me to want to be physically stronger and more healthy then I am, it also touches my inner person making me desire a better understanding of who I am and what I'm trying to accomplish in this life. As Miku pursued her dream of becoming the next Neo-Pro Wrestling Champion, she learned valuable information about herself and how she feels.
This show is also about priorities, as both Ginko and Miku discovered when Naoya tried to trick them into quitting the team. Ginko was offered an opportunity (of which was completely bogus) to join an American Neo-Pro Wrestling team and Miku was forced into making a choice between her boyfriend (Naoya) and Neo-Pro Wrestling. Although both Ginko and Miku struggled over what they should do, the struggle made them grow and in the end, their choice to pursue what they loved (Neo-Pro Wrestling) and remain faithful to the team, made them happier and stronger people. =]
