Now, you might be asking yourself, "what's so great about the shrimp?"  Well, he might not be as cool or flashy as Arai; may not be as smooth and sexy as Takagi; he's definitely not as calm or mysterious as Nakamoto, and he's not captain of the basketball team with kick-ass songs like Kato, but Mikimaro has many great qualities of his own.

First of all, he's cute as a button. ^_^  He's what a friend of mine would call a button-child.  Just look at those cheeks and that adorable tuft of hair.  That's definite button-child material.

At the same time, he is also capable of looking...nostalgic.  In the M+ manga he looks a bit older, like an actual teenager; a perfect candidate for a future bishonen. ^_~

Beyond looks, he's also just a wonderful person.  Always has a ready smile and cheerful outlook; just the thing to cheer up anyone on a bad day.  But don't take his easy-going attitude for granted; he's fiercely protective of his friends and will always stand by their side.

Also...people always tend to like characters that they relate with.  I admit it...I'm very Miki-ish.  Childish, look way younger than I am, and often found annoying....  And I'm cute to boot! ^_^

And, of course, one of my main reasons for adoring Miki-chan....  I just love a guy who makes it a point to glomp another guy on a regular basis! ^__^
