The Editor.
Saved game Editor/Cheat
This allows you to modify/Edit/Cheat on all applicable aspects of the game, including an option to fully recruit, train & equip your entire army. To install, simply unzip the file to the same subdirectory/Folder as the Game. Then Create a shortcut. The utility has three screens you go through to colmpete the edit. If below is confusing, no worries. The program is pretty self explanatory. The first screen asks what LEVEL, or opponent is on the savedgame. Reason is the byte positions are different depending on the number of planets in the universe (don't ask me why. I didn't program the thing) Included on the screen is a brief description of each level. Enter the Level of the Savedgame. The second screen you input the file name of the saved game. The third screen is where you modify stuff. You can change per item, (food, fuel, etc.) & enter in exact values, or "max out" all. To Modify Armies. On the top right you'll see: (P)latoons Upgraded: NO Using that option will give you all 24 Platoons fully trained & equipped & stationed at your Starbase. Other Stuff: There are quick exits on every screen. There is no error trapping code in the editor. Meaning if you tried to load a non existent file, the program would simply terminate and a "File not found at module blah, blah" would show up. No biggie. For some odd readon, when you save a game the program - Supremacy, not the editor - continues to "share" the file. In other words, if you tried to save a game, then while the game is running try to edit it, you'll get an error message "ACCESS DENIED" Just quit the game, or edit one you haven't loaded. For what it's worth: This editor can make the game "too easy," especially using the Platoon upgrade. Though you can do what you want, like in all cheat utilities, I would suggest you at first go slow with the modifications.
