| December........... The 1st. Mike went to work until 2 oclock whilst I played tennis then we had a lazy day together sitting outside in the sun. 80 degree temps all week, zero humidity just perfect. Tomorrow we're both off, so tennis in the morning again, followed by a 'pot luck' dinner in the afternoon. Monday we both work Tuesday I work..........Mike should hear about another job opportunity Wednesday neither of us work........Tennis Lessons in the afternoon Thursday I work.....Mike leads the Computer Club in the afternoon Friday we both work Sat & Sun I'm playing in a Tennis Tournament nearby ..............then it'll be Xmas before we know it The Tennis was a great success. I rolled home Runner Up in the Ladies Doubles & the Mixed Doubles, won $40 Paradise Dollars and made aload of new friends and rivals that what a rematch. It was a long gruelling w.end but a load of fun. Mike didn't get anywhere with the job prospect but has resulted in gaining more hours where he's already working, so all's well that ends well. It will probably mean they collar him for New Year's Eve breakfast......at 1am....so guess I know how I'm going to be seeing in 2002......with friends & well fed and watered. Wishing All our Friends, near, far and very far a great Christmas where ever you are, we'll be thinking of you. You know who you are so keep in touch. Christmas Day we'll be phoning home, then opening presents with friends in Tampa and indulging in their feast and festivities. Happy Holidays. |
