The Year.... in brief........we celebrated Christmas in
January because we couldn�t fly as we were still waiting for our travel documents. George W. Bush sworn in as the 43rd President. Earthquakes kill 840 in El Salvador & 20,000 in Western India. Scottish court convicts one Libyan in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. Tampa hosts the Super Bowl.

February we flew to Florida hoping to land a fantastic job opportunity and settle into a new home. The Suncoast Parkway toll road opens. Navy Sub collides with Japanese Fishing boat 9 die. Dale Earnhart crashes and dies at the Daytona 500. Wildfires close the I - 4.

March we agreed new terms to return to Georgia where we worked last year. Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic arrested for war crimes.

April 3rd we pulled out of Florida bathed in sunshine, traveled to Atlanta in rain, at the resort our site was awash. The sun shone bringing the dogwood trees into bloom and shedding a thick yellow carpet of pollen on every surface. US Navy surveillance plane collides with Chinese fighter jets & makes and emergency landing. Tiger Woods wins The Masters for the 4th straight major title.

May we had decks down around our 5th wheel, a garden planted and a bonfire ring.
Ann Robinson and The Weakest Link hit T.V. Memorial weekend the crowds turned out. 14 year old boy convicted of shooting to death a teacher. Florida introduces an electronic voting system following the fiasco of Punch Cards in Nov (and Dec.) The King & Queen plus 7 members of Nepal�s Royal Family are slain by Crown Prince in Palace Shooting.

June we escape work explored the local scenery and enjoy meals with great friends. Watch Mummy Returns at the movies. Timothy McVeigh is executed. Sharks attack off the Florida coast.

July 16th we left the resort after another successful season and return back to Florida.
Jurassic Park III thrilled us.

August 1st flew home and enjoyed catching up with friends and family in England.

September 11th Suicide Hijackers crash 2 planes into the World Trade Center, another plane crashes into a Wing of The Pentagon and a 4th crashes into a field outside Pittsburgh as passengers fight back to gain control. 3,000 die. Pipe bomb explodes as parents escort children to Holy Cross Primary School in N. Belfast, N. Ireland
19th we fly back to Florida. In-flight movies Bridget Jones Diary & Moulin Rouge

October Mike starts a PT job. Halloween is massive here. Anthrax is found in mail, likely from a domestic source. Gas masks, Guns, Flags & patriotic T.Shirts sales all soar. Scandal that American Flags are not made in America.

November I start working PT. We enter our 1st Tennis Tournament. Thanksgiving means so much more this year, many refuse to fly for fear of further attacks. 38 yr old Michael Jordan comes out of retirement to play for Washington Wizards.

December bombing raids continue in Afghanistan, trying to flush out Bin Laden.
Israeli warplanes strike Palestinian security targets & Yasser Arafat's offices in response to suicide bombings.
