iPhone's Story

iPhone is a smartphone that was created in 2007 by Apple. It quickly became a best selling phone and something that completely changed the cellphone market. The iPhone was something that also changed the way that people consumed media. It also changed the music industry as well.

Even though iPhone was a game changer, if it wasn't for Steve Job's iPod, the iPhone would not exist. Apple took the iPod and turned it into a smartphone that was capable of being a phone and an iPod in one. This was something that was a revolutionary idea and what would lead to the current day smartphone war. What Apple did also changed the way the world browsed the internet. At the time, most web browsing was done on a computer. iPhone took web browsing to the next level and gave people the ability to browse the inter on the go.

Today's iPhone

Today's iPhone has changed quite a bit in terms of design, but it still maintains its classic functionality. Things that have changed from the first generation to now have been major. Apple was the first company to introduce the Home Button. This button allowed for easy navigation from application to application. Today the home button has been eliminated from the device completely. Instead it has been replaced by gestures and Face ID. Face ID is what is used to unlock your phone instead of the Touch ID Home Button.

The next thing that has changed would be the overall size of the iPhone. Originally created to fit in your hand, the iPhone has become supersized. The original iPhone had a height of 4.5 inches with a width of 2.4 inches. Today, Apple's Flagship iPhone has a screen size of 6.5 inches. This makes the iPhone XS Max the largest iPhone ever.
