To protect Earth from a catastrophic meteor impact, we must put into
space a permanent satellite that is equipped with nuclear missiles. To protect
Earth from this satellite, the missiles must be constructed in such a way that
they destruct upon contact with the Earth's ionosphere.

Perhaps a satellite could be developed that reflects sunlight through a revolving, compound magnifying lens. Put into orbit around Earth, blizzards and hurricanes could be lessened or even thwarted. In orbit around Mars, polar ice caps could be melted, and entire base and expedition areas could be kept warm.

Perhaps through centrifugal force and electromagnetism gravity can be defied.

Instinct is an inherent natural phenomenon, and therefore a physiological function, not psychological.

With the proper administration of chemical and electrical stimulants, comatose patients should be able to regain consciousness.

All of the body's functions are chemically induced. Isolate and control the chemicals, and man is immortal.

Perhaps life can spring from virtually any natural environment, whether Earthly or otherwise, but can thrive only in the perpetuation and/or evolution of that environment.

Perhaps on planets and asteroids in other galaxies there exist
elements with properties that we would perceive as magical.

Due to the structure of galaxies, they must eventually collapse upon themselves and then into black holes. Perhaps, then, galaxies are the remnants of the supernovas of unfathomably massive stars.

It is known that energy, under extreme conditions, can be converted into matter. Perhaps this is the key to understanding what caused the Big Bang, why matter formed, and how the universe was created.

There is no place in the universe where two plus two does not equal four.

The universe is alive.

The universe was set into motion. Motion is the key to all that is.

The universe is expanding towards the boundary of its own gravitational field.

The universe is as small as it is large.

Every star is but a particle in the atom of the universe.

Subatomic particles are not only the building blocks of the universe, they are also the measuring spoons. Only a certain, fixed number of them exist. They are the most acutely attuned substance in the universe and must behave, in relation to each other, in a highly uniform manner in order to maintain balance in the universe. By studying the mechanisms of the subatomic particles, we can unlock the mysteries of the universe.
