The next map below I call "Greer North".  It probably has a more official name.  There are 3 circles in this map which are interesting.  Joe Eichler did more than build houses, he planned streets and tried to calm traffic. There are about 300 houses in this group, and they appear to cross Oregon Expressway, but I didn't include those houses on this map.  These houses are early 50s vintage and on the small side, but very cute.  Many of them are the 3/1 variety, and many of them have been remodelled.  Lately, I have been wondering if it is easier to buy a fixer upper in Sunnyvale or a small house in Palo Alto and do a tasteful addition.  I get a feeling updating a small PA house might be easier and financially better.
I call this area Don Jesus, because there is a park with that name in this area.  These Eichlers are in south Palo Alto pretty close to Mountain View, and pretty close to 101.  They are not the early years, but aren't the later ones either.  I would guess this group is from about 1957, a few atriums are scattered throughout..
