| The nex map shown is a neighborhood I call "Elsinore". Named after a street in the area. It is really nice, these houses are bigger than the 2 Eichler neighborhoods near here, Greer North and Green Gables. There are about 120 houses in this group which is north of Oregon Expressway and not too far west of 101. |

| This next neighborhood I call "Channing" but the real name is "Green Gables". Green Gables has quite a few of the very first models of Eichlers, the AA-1. There are about 120 in this group from the early days of Eichlerdom. Notice how many of these houses are obscured by large trees.I went to an open house recently which had an AA-1 for sale for over $1 Million on Ivy Lane. And you know what? That house sold in less than a week. I wonder if Joe would have ever thought one of his first models at about 1000 sq ft would go for that much? But I have to say it was a nice house in a nice neighborhood. Maybe not such a bad deal after all. These are located very close to 101 a little north of Embarcadero |
