Full Time Work Experience: July 1998 - February 2000 Center for Composite Materials, University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware Monitored cure kinetics of vinyl ester material using FTIR and DSC. Examined the surface structure of cured resin using AFM. Studied the decomposition rates of initiator materials in the presence of accelerants and vinyl ester monomers. Full Time Work Experience: September 1995 – June 1998 "Chemical Engineering Laboratory" – CHEG 345 Set up and instructed laboratory experiments using DSC to investigate vinyl ester material. Class subject concerned the kinetics of thermoset polymer cure. Class size of 44 students. Part Time Work Experience: February 1997 – May 1997 ARCO Chemical Company, Newtown Square, Pennsylvania Research & Development Department. Worked with Deepwell Alternatives Team. Performed process simulations using ASPEN PLUS in support of developmental work and for modeling current PO/SM plant. Designed and optimized extractive and azeotropic distillation processes. Used Multichrom to analyze plant streams in ongoing MBA and PO loss experiments. Performed material balances for treated wastewater. Developed flow sheets and VLE graphs. Calculated volumetric rate flows from PFDs Cooperative Work Experience: December 1993 - August 1994
