Lighthouse at Ipswich Bay
Marsh Trail (1.3 km)

Consists of five interpretive stations, is of a gentle grade and also involves negotiating many steps.  A marsh is a wetland dominated by non-woody plants such as grasses and cattails.  During the 1940s and '50s, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service created this and two additional freshwater marshes on the Refuge to provide feeding, nesting and resting habitat for waterfowl and other birds.
After that, we were driving to Ipswich Bay to see the Lighthouse (35 feet).  Station established in 1788, present Tower built in 1898.  The construction materials of this lighthouse are wood.

Then, we went to
Newburyport city, nice place for tourists:-).  Because of a little bit hungry, so we decided to have lunch first.  We choose "Bono's Restaurant" to enjoy our afternoon meal.  The foods was so excellent!!  Surprised!!

Maybe because of too much strong sun, my migrain disturbed me.  Very unpleasant!! So, we decided to go back home before had a chance to enjoying the harbor:-((.  But, we will be back again sometimes this year:-).
