When studying the Craft, one of the most confusing aspects of it are the many different paths that exist today. While surfing the internet for information, you will find many wonderful websites on the subjects of Wicca, Witchcraft, and other forms of Pagan beliefs. The problem that arises from this is that everyone has their own opinions, and sometimes this can be mind-boggling to the new student.

While I believe that it is important to get a taste of the different paths or beliefs that are out there, it is often difficult to ascertain where any one belief orginated from, or what path may be best suited for ourselves. This is especially true of searches involving the internet. There are so many individuals that call themselves 'eclectic' that, more often than not, information tends to run together, and we can't seem to get a clear enough picture. When you add the fact that there are so many ways of doing things in the Craft, with each being unique and correct in its own right, the outcome can be that of utter confusion for pathworking. The only advice that I can offer for this dilemma is this: Do your homework. Attempt to trace beliefs to where they originated from. This way you can make a more informed decision, therein, truely chosing the path that you are most comfortable with.
