 It is no secret that the religion of Wicca and other forms of Pagan religious worship are misunderstood by the general population. I have heard, so often, from one individual or another who feels the need to keep their religious beliefs a secret (still hiding in the 'broom closet'), so as not to 'rock the boat', or feel repercussions because of their religious choices. I, too, feel this way more often than not. But I also feel that we are entitled to live as freely and openly as anyone else. Why should our religious faith be held like some deep dark secret? This is a "Catch 22" which is deeply felt on a personal level, and is currently being resolved on an individual basis. Yet imagine what we could do if we all came together at once, in force of numbers, to say This portion of A Witch's World is designed to give you Up-to-Date information on the Pagan community. Keep in touch with educational efforts as we make our presence known and understood. Check out Hot Topics that affect us all. Learn about your rights. Learn where you can seek help if you feel your rights are being violated. On the lighter side, this part of A Witch's World is also a means of letting you know what is going on in your Local Community. Dates to Remember, Study Circles, Gatherings & Events, and Local Pagan Functions will be added as they are heard about. My hope is to eventually give everyone a way to, atleast, have a starting point for finding out such information, in every State of the U.S. I hope that you will find this News section to be helpful and informative. I also hope that you will not hesitate to share any information that you hear about, so that we can help others to learn about it as well.
