If I hear Hinder 'Lips of an Angel', Evenes(I don't know how to spell this stupid word)ence 'Call Me When You're Sober', or Blue October 'Hate Me' one more time, I'm gonna shit on some music director's chest! Or, if that's their fetish, which seems possible judging by their taste in music, I'll just dropkick them in the testicles/ovaries. FUCK OFF WITH THOSE SONGS!
- There are more than 40 songs out there...do some research, discover bands! It'll make you feel better about yourself.
- Stop talking in that lame fake radio voice. Real people don't talk like that. You don't sound like a real person.
- Research your music. Give some random info on the band once and a while and pretend like you actually know the content which you play.
- Don't fucking say "this is this bands latest single" when it's not. Just because it's the only one you've been playing for the last 6 months, doesn't make it their latest. Even though I hate them, Evenescense has another song or two after 'Call Me When You're Sober'.
- Be a little bit more selective when it comes to airing ads. I know you're corporate whores and will play anything for money, but many ads are shitty quality or just annoying and make people change the station, lowering your ratings and ad airtime value. Don't let owners or businesses or managers record their own commercials. They usually suck and sound bad. It's not their fault, it's just not what they do.
- Radio hosts....be a host and less of a fake voice that says a song name every half hour and kisses everyone's ass. Have an opinion or bias but be honest about it and let the audience have their own point of view too. We don't all have to think the same and be neutral abotu everything. Don't be afraid to be disagreed with, so long as you know and your audience knows that it's just your opionion.
Stop ruining radio. It's getting it's ass kicked enough by mp3 players, satelite radio, CD players etc...you're not helping the cause.
