Midnight Snack on Youtube, Facebook
The takeover only started with the airwaves...now, Midnight Snack is spreading filth and shenanigans to youtube and facebook!!! Oh no! BFD right? WRONG! So I just created a facebook group called "Midnight Snack" after noticing a few other CKLU shows with groups and I heard that this is what the kids are on these days (wtf is myspace?). I'll post pics and videos occasionally of random crap, events, concerts, etc. This group may also offer a bit better way for people to make suggestions, requests and so on. You're also welcome to post video or pics (I think).
As for youtube, I created an account and I'll probably post some vids of events, concerts, rants and link to some of my fav youtube videos. The ID is midnightsnack967. I'll keep ya posted on that. Oh, and I renewed the domain name midnightsnack.ca for another year...yay!

Midnight Snack is BACK!!!
After a long ass 4 months of late night starvation, Midnight Snack is back on CKLU. This time around I (Steve-Ray) am going to College for a post-grad certificate (yay) in broadcasting for my Communications degree. What this means is, the quality of the show will probably get better! F-Yeah!!! Furthermore (oh yes, there's more even further so than before), CKLU is doing some upgrades and renovations. What THAT means is that CKLU is getting better. Midnight Snack getting better + CKLU getting better = an audio orgasm every Wednesday night. I'll make your ears cum.
More so (oh yeah, even more than furthermore), I will be looking for a co-host to partake in my midweek late night shenanigans and hijinks. What THIS means...is obvious. A second person on air with me. Oh shiznitz, I almost forgot. The show is live from now on and runs even later than before. It's more like a Midnight 2 and a half course meal as it will run either until 2am or 2:30am. The show will also take on a bit more of a University and College focus (events, topics, booze, sex, etc.). Email your requests to [email protected] and TUNE IN!!!

Midnight Snack Cancelled!!!
Well not really...but tonight will be the last show. I am going back to work my summer job in Huntsville, in the bush, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so pre-recording isn't really an option. Who knows how long it would take the CD to arrive in Sudbury from Huntsville?!
I shall return in September for more radio adventures but it might be under a different title depending on the time slot...hopefully earlier than midnight. Midnight on a Wednesday was a shitty slot but it was the only slot they could (would) give me. Meh.
As I said, tonight is the last episode (for 4 months anyway) and it shall kick major testicles. I will have a special guest tonight...Rob Cormier, my former co-host. We will have some interesting shit to talk about and music that doesn't suck. I promise, we won't play anything that you've heard half a dozen times already on the other stations. Should be good times, so tune in to the only thing worth listening to so late on a Wednesday...everything else is shit I assure you...there's nothing on TV except CSI and "Hot Canadian Girls Hotline" infomercials and you've already had a chance to see a dozen episodes of CSI earlier tonight.

Tabarnac it took a long time but I updated all of the playlists from Episode 12 through 23 (which airs March 7th).
Remember, Midnight Snack goes live in 4 weeks from Wednesday...Oh baby, it'll be good to be live again and back in the Suds.

Holy Crap! It's Been Awhile
So this website was in need of some serious updates. The last update was over ten shows ago. Show #21 is coming up this Weds (at 12am on CKLU 96.7FM in Sudbury).Playlists will be updated in the next couple of days. I am recording #21 today from Sudbury as I am in town this weekend. Good times. I love this city. I haven't selected the tunes yet or haven't any ideas on what topics will be discussed but I know this...THIS WILL BE BY FAR THE BEST EPISODE OF MIDNIGHT SNACK OF ALL TIME!!!! Well, probably not. I'll wing it and do my best. There are a few updates around the site so browse around.
Oh here's an update: The show will go live for the month of April. Maybe I'll have some special guests/interviews or something. I'll make it special somehow. Then from the 2nd week of May on it will be prerecorded again but with more random guests.

Updates
Episode 11 airs this Wednesday at midnight (Thursday @ 0:00am) and it's gonna kick big ole trailer park balls. There's less talk this time give I wanted to fit in as much musik as possible. The playlist has been posted here.
Also, I posted a few rants in the polical section of the site. They could have gone in the rants section but they were a bit more politically fueled than random rants that will eventually make up the rants section. They're pretty serious and have a pissed off tone so don't expect many jokes or off the wall remarks in politics, I'll save that for the rest of this site. They may offend you but suck it up princess.
Oh, and use the forum. It's up their in the menu bar....it's called forum, just click on that shit and post your ass off.

Made it to #10
The 10th episode od Midnight Snack airs this Wednesday November 29th at midnight...yay, we should all celebrate. Well it's been awhile been I've made a few updates. I uploaded all of the show playlists...finally, including the upcoming episode 10.
I'm gonna try to add more content to this site shortly and update the playlists weekly. Example, I just added a bunch of mini reviews. Also, the link to a forum actually goes to a forum!!!!....So you can now comment, request or bash all you want or just send me an email at [email protected].

Four Episodes in the Bag
This epic radio adventure known as Midnight Snack is full steam ahead. I just finished recording the fourth episode of the show and you can check out the playlists for episodes 1 through 4 on this site. Not to sound vain or anything, but I think the show kicks ass more and more each show. Hopefully you've been tuning in and enjoying it as much as I enjoy pumping them out.

Bedtime Will Never be the Same
CKLU 96.7fm presents Midnight Snack., the all-new late-night radio show by former Punked*U8 host and creator Steve-Ray (me). This new show will feature a wide range of genres of music, from punk to rap to alternative to metal plus many other shenanigans. Oh and potty language is allowed in the musical content at that hour.....FUCK YEAH!!!! The show premieres next Wednesday September 27th at midnight (which is Thursday morning at 0:00am). Don't forget to tune in on the 27th before bedtime....I mean it, fucking write it down!!! Don't go to bed hungry.
