| Here are some of the awards and accolades of the Lee High School Choral Department for these past 4 years: 20 All-Staters 300 All-Region members 2004-Chorale performs at TMEA Convention in San Antonio, Texas 2 Concert Tours-Washington, D.C. and Linz, Austria Other Awards: LHS ensembles have received more than 161 plaques/trophies including more than 99 UIL Sweepstakes, 30 First Division honors, and 32 "Best in Class" awards at just some of the major choral festivals listed below: Students also participate in TMEA and UIL solo competitions where their successes can be traced towards THE COMMON GOAL OF EXCELLENCE! The department has performed with the Midland-Odessa Symphony and for various community events. The LHS Chorale has performed as an Honor Choir at the Texas Music Educator's Association State Convention in San Antonio, Texas (2004) and also has toured to Austria/Germany (1996), New York City (1998), The British Isles (2000), Washington, D.C. (2002), and our most recent trip this past year to the 2004 Linz Invitational Choral Festival in Austria. Click here for information from our trip to Linz, Austria.
