Q: When trying to download files on Box.net, I get an error saying "user cannot directly link." Why is that, and how do I fix it? A: Files in a sub-directly cannot be downloaded individually. To download them, you need to click on the tab next to the name of the directory, and click "zip folder." A downloaded .ZIP archive will then be compiled for you to download. Q: There were other files that are uploaded to the site, but are not listed in the directory. A: Should the number of links in a directory reach its maximum, a second page will be made. Simply scroll to the bottom of the page and select the appropriate page with your file(s). Q: I can't hear background music. What's wrong? A: For some of the features of this site, your browser requires compatibility with JavaScript. You also need to enable JavaScript in your browser. The site should still be accessible without these functions, though. Q: The link(s) don't work! What do I do if I want to download? A: If an item is mis-linked, please kindly e-mail an administrator. If the file was deleted, the link should no longer exist. If you have bookmarked a link, and the target content no longer exists, it could also be that the link has been updated. Please do not directly link to the files, rather, access them from the main page. Also, if the file was hosted on a site and its download time expires, you may request for the file to be re-uploaded. However, please do not expect files to be re-uploaded, especially if the file is dormant for a long period of time. (c) 2006 Team MIDI Guru |
