R/C Miniature Modeling Your hobby, my hobby: our hobby. It's ever fascinating, always challenging, very educational but never once boring. It is constantly changing with the times, evolving through the decades: and will continue to evolve as long as hobbyists like you keep pushing its envelope.
To aid the evolution mechanism, we need manufacturers and suppliers to keep up with you: providing you with the kind of products that you need to realize your ideas and dreams . Your next project could very well be groundbreaking: setting new standards for others to follow, and turning the wheel of evolution another notch.
We, as manufacturers, would be hard pressed to keep up with you. It will not be an easy task, and like our hobby, it will be challenging. Occasionally, manufacturers would also have to push the envelope themselves, such that the products they make, will give you the opportunity to explore new possibilities, concepts, and ideas.
Innovative products have constantly decorated the highway of evolution of our hobby: from glow engines to jet turbines, from control-line to computer radios, from stick-and-tissue to high tech plastics: and the list goes on.
Micro Avionics wants to be a part of this evolution. We have made it our mission to design products that will give you the ability to make your projects achieve goals that were not possible before. Together, we can make the wheel turn another notch.
In May 1999, Micro Avionics was founded to pursue this mission. The founder was an engineer by profession: someone who has spent 18 years working as an industrial control engineer: someone who designs control systems for others to control their worlds. Above all, he is someone who has always been a modeler for as long as he can remember... just like you.
Finally succumbing to his childhood desires to be a part of the modeling world, he has decided to put all his years of engineering experience into making innovative electronic control devices for the hobby industry. He calls them: Specialized Electronics.
Specialized Electronics are microprocessor-based devices that are specifically created for the everyday-modeling enthusiasts. They are designed with simplicity in mind: you do not have to have a Computing or Engineering Degree to use them in your models.
The complexities of microprocessor programming have been totally removed in these products, and any kind of set-up or configurations that may be required, are achieved by means of simple switches, buttons or knobs. You would find that 'programming' these Specialized Electronics is many times easier than programming your living room VCR.
And like our hobby, Specialized Electronics promises to be always innovative, ever fascinating, but never boring.
