Photos Taken In Our Forest
| (Written on January 12, 2008) The lake was ice covered for awhile in December, but alas, all has melted in the spring-like weather of last week They are still fishing from the shore and even some boats have taken to the lake. Quite a few trees came down in a couple of wind storms over the past month. I undestand there were some at the camp area near Fuller also. It was a beautiful sight on Saturday, February 2, 2008, Groundhog Day.
The wintry, beautiful scenery vanished as a warming sun arrived late in the afternoon though. Yes, he did see his shadow, so there's 6 more weeks of winter weather predicted for the forest. C'mon down anyhow! Click on the "Winter" photo below. |
