process for developing materials

in practice:

* think about who's coming been to class recently

* think about what could engage their interest & enthusiasm

* find any materials you already have that could fit - hurry to class

* if extra time, design a set of materials that could be adapted to a range of classes, and carry it round on a floppy disk
