Montpelier,Vermont.- A surge in rabies in Northwestern Vermont has state & federal health & agriculture officials working to prevent the strain of the fatal animal disease from crossing the border into Canada. So far half way into 2007 there have been 84 positive cases of rabies in Vermont.

1999 Vermont High Court ruled that the state create Civil Unions, which confer all of the rights and benefits available to Married Couples under state law. The only state to allow "Gay Marriage" is Massachusetts. The only states allowing Civil Unions are Vermont and Connecticut. See Gay New Jersey for details below.

Going to Coventry Resort.Packing a cooler with picnic meat, eggs, cheese,fruit,and soft drinks, mom would take us 6 kids here every year. outfitted with bags of bread and sweets, little luggage a dog leash and our dogs. our rental cabin was different every year, but always clean good repair with the kitchen having every device you can imagine. we took a paddle boat to my most favorite spot and all the kids from all the families gathered to play water games while parents and grand parents kept a close eye on us all. Others arrived in pontoon boats, kayaks, canoes, sunfish, and water lillies. imported sand or not, our beach always stayed busy with either on lookers and some who wanted to join in the water games. Here adults and children played all sorts of games together. And yes- Wild Game Feast an amazing, well done yearly event. One man began the tradition years ago, because he truly enjoyed hunting and ice fishing, he would provide wild game such as deer, bear, salmon, all sorts of wild food
And ever since everyone here has carried on that tradition. When night time comes the cool breeze picks up we all head for the heated sauna and hot tubs inside. I really enjoy going to the Coventry Resort Every Year.

Burlington, Vermont.-Steven Buelow, whose Vermont prison sentence for a rape murder he committed at age 15 is over. Still he can not be released until he proves that he has a place to live, and according to a report on Burlington's WCAX-TV, the keenest idea he had was to pick women at random from the phone book, write them letters describing his situation, and asking them for a place to stay. With a total of 15 letters, sent at least one woman contacted by the station said she was terrified by the letter and considered moving out of Vermont. Steven Buelow said he would not send any more letters.
