(RTJG1) The Joshadan Imperial Space Navy
(RTJG1.01) Heavy Cruiser Calkhann (SSD)
This heavy cruiser design is primarily used for defense and information
gathering. In the Joshadan language, its name means 'ensuring' as
it is supposed to ensure that laws and human rights are upheld.
(RTJG1.02) Command Cruiser Joshada (SSD)
This is the flagship of the Joshadan fleet. Its general purpose
is a peaceful one as it often acts as a diplomatic envoy in deep space.
It has been in service for over 70 years and has been overhauled many times.
This ship was refitted with Option Mounts for the Beyond Manixo
campaign game.
(RTJG1.03) Converted Errevin Light Cruiser Unity (SSD)
The Joshadans and Errevins are allies and share technology. The
Errevins once gave the Joshadans one of their light cruiser hulls to convert
as a show of good will; the Joshadans returned the favour (see RTJG2.06).
(RTJG1.04) Science Cruiser (SSD)
The Joshadan Alliance, along with the Errevins, had the resources and
the inclination to devote cruiser-size ships to the sole pursuit of scientific
research. This ship is basically a copy of the Calkhann (RTJG1.01),
except with shuttle bays and drastically increased sensor systems.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG1.05) Determined Class Light Cruiser (SSD)
This is a small defense ship, an analogue to the Rutan DD (RTJG3.01).
In the years after its initial design, a variety of refit options came
out, making this a versatile craft.
(RTJG1.07) Battlecruiser Tornado (SSD)
This starship is the Joshadans' most advanced warship. As threats
such as the Computer Empire, an acceleration of Rutan shipbuilding, and
the Light Of Doom began to emerge, the Joshadans decided it was time to
build a state-of-the-art ship to defend the quadrant, as many Joshadan
designs had been in service for decades.
An SSD was made of Josh's original design for the Beyond Manixo
campaign game.
(RTJG2) The Errevin Homeworld Fleet
(RTJG2.01) Hawk Class Light Cruiser (SSD)
This, the direct successor to the YCL, was one of the first 'modern'
Errevin ship designs to be produced, and formed the longtime backbone of
the Errevin fleet, until heavy cruisers began to become more common.
See also the Errevin YCL (RTJG2.Y1)
(RTJG2.03) Explorer Class Heavy Cruiser (SSD)
This ship was produced somewhat later than the Hawk CL. As such,
it features an increased use of Particle Beams, as well as an overall 'new'
design ethic.
(RTJG2.05) Science Cruiser (SSD)
The Joshadan Alliance, along with the Errevins, had the resources and
the inclination to devote cruiser-size ships to the sole pursuit of scientific
research. This ship is a new design, with more sensors and labs than
weapons.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG2.06) Converted Joshadan Determined Class Light Cruiser
(SSD)
The Joshadans and Errevins are allies and share technology. The
Joshadans once gave the Errevins one of their light cruiser hulls to convert
in return for the Errevin light cruiser hull given to the Joshadans; see
(RTJG1.03).
(RTJG2.07) Kalkli Heavy Cruiser (SSD)
This ship is typical of the vessels built by the Kalkli of Natâra
around the time the Errevin Explorer CA (RTJG2.03) was designed.
It is the direct descendant of the ships the Errevin YCL (RTJG2.Y1), and
later the Errevin CLHK (RTJG2.01), were based on. Kalkli shipbuilding
slowed down dramatically after the alliance with the Joshadans as the new
technologies being invented during that time period were very delicate,
and were not durable enough. The Kalkli technicians, however, kept
trying to get more out of what was available, and were the first to develop
the 2-point warp engine, but the early prototypes often overloaded until
Errevin and Joshadan scientists found a way to stabilise them
(RTJG3) The Rutan Defense Force
(RTJG3.01) Destroyer (SSD)
This is a fast and powerful ship, the backbone of the Rutan fleet.
They believed that it was better to have a large fleet of small ships than
a small fleet of thinly spread large ships. Also called the Fast
Patroller.
(RTJG3.02) Stealth Cruiser (SSD)
This ship can be used to gather information and sneak around undetected,
and then attack with custom-fitted weapons.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG3.03) Heavy Cruiser (SSD)
A normal Heavy Cruiser for the Rutans.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game, although
the original idea came much earlier.
(RTJG3.04) Talon Class Light Cruiser (SSD)
This is both a rival for the Errevin Hawk CL (RTJG2.01) and the Rutans'
answer to the Joshadan BC Tornado (RTJG1.07). It is the most advanced
ship of its kind.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG4.01) Heavy Cruiser (SSD)
This ship may have relatively weak shields, but it's armoured and has
at least one weapon for every direction.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game, from
a Lego model by Andrew.
(RTJG4.02) Campaign Freighter (SSD)
This ship is a modular freighter; this particular configuration is
sort of a Q-ship with lots of sensors.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG5) The Computer-Empire Star Network
(RTJG5.01) Manixo DD-12 (SSD)
This ship is one of the destroyers coming from the planet Manixo.
Like almost all Computer ships, it is built out of modular pods.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG5.02) Karrona DD-35 (SSD)
This ship is one of the destroyers coming from the planet Karrona.
Like almost all Computer ships, it is built out of modular pods.
This ship was designed for the Beyond Manixo campaign game.
(RTJG8.01) The Light Of Doom (SSD)
Centuries ago, the Makers built this and similar sentinels to defend
their space against intruders. The races of that time period must
have built extremely large ships, as the Light can completely destroy most
'modern' ships in a single shot.
The Beyond Manixo campaign game was designed around this concept.
"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." --Douglas Adams
