(Quetta 27/03/2021) Mechid Hikers Club every year celebrates the 23rd March Pakistan Day weaving Pakistan Flag on the peak of Mount Khalifat. Its 2nd Highest peak in balochistan and is every climbers dream to summit , which is situated at famous Juniper rich Ziarat valley.

Ziarat is situated 133 kms (3 hours by car) from Quetta at an altitude of 2449 metres above sea level, Ziarat is a holiday resort amidst one of the largest and oldest Juniper forests in the world. It is said that some of the Juniper trees are as old as 5000 years.

Tourists from all over Balochistan visit the valley in the harsh summers. Its overall cold weather, fascinating sceneries, lush green forests and mighty mountains attracts tourists of all kinds and its a breath taking scene to hike through these forests. It remains quite cool during summer and receives enough snowfall during the winter. Light woolen clothing for summer and heavy for the winter are recommended.
