Rakaposhi Base camp Trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Pakistan located in the Karakoram range. Rakaposhi is one of the highest peaks in the world rising height of 7,788 meter (25,551 feet). The trek takes you through stunning valleys, lush green meadows and beautiful glaciers, culminating at the base camp of Rakaposhi.

The trek starts from the small town of Minapin located in the Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan. From there we hiked up to the Hapakun base camp, where we spent a night. The trek takes us through beautiful walnut and apricot orchards and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

The next day, we trekked towards the Taghaphari. The trails takes us through lush green meadows of the Nagar Valley with beautiful views of the Rakaposhi and Diran peaks.

From Taghaphari, we continued our trek towards Rakaposhi Base camp. The trail takes us through rocky terrain of the Minapin glacier and offers stunning view of Rakaposhi peak. The base camp is located at altitude of 4,150 meters (13615 feet) and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers.

We spend a day at the base camp, exploring the area and taking the stunning views. We then trek down the valley toward Hapakun and back to Minapin, where we ended our trek.
