Garmins Rhino110 - great unit, we have used this unit in both woods and during travel. It is limited when it comes to maps, but works very well as a standard wavepoint to wavepoint guide. This unit also comes with a built in talkie radio, calandar, alam, route and track storage. Very affordable (less than $150) and durable. |

This water bag saved my camera! I swear by these.... During a white water experience on the New River in West Virginia - we got wet. Very wet. But, my camera did not. These bags are great even in your bass boat. Extra security - even if caught in a rain storm. |

I put these two together for a reason. First, the Kelty 3950 external frame. Great pack- lots of compartments- got it on sale for less than $100. Because I hunt, I like the external - it doubles as a game pack if I need the extra support. Then the Knollwood shelter tent. 3.5lbs- and fits two (tight) The only flaw is that the poles are a little long in the pack. Price is less than $30 - best used in warm conditions. |

This match is made for the traveler! The iglo cooler was marked $100 - and I did some math. For all the stops during travels to and from- it added up to own this cooler. It keeps all 40 quarts at a constant 40 degrees. Along side of it is a converter to plug the cooler into a standard wall socket. For those hotels without refregerators. |

For 65 bucks, I could not pass up this field test. This is the Strongbuilt (300lb) latter stand with non-slip metal platforms. I usually use a tree climber, but where I still hunt - its a long hike. I plan to set this up once with a lock, and retrieve it at the end of the season. This came from Oudoor World - and included a boady harness. In the field, my main concern is the confort - It looks a little tight, and appears to have no arm rest. Hunters need comfort for those hours of sitting. I let you know how it works. Great Price! and it was a snap to put together. |

This inverter is a must. I now can use my laptop on the road with no concerns regarding my battery. The link shows the specs - check it out. |

Living in Florida, and spending a great deal of time outdoors (and sometimes in a camper) - this generator fits my budget. Its a 3500 Watt portable unit. I will field this and give it a rating for fule usage, noise, and how much I can run off its two 110 AC outlets. I got this from Pep Boys for $319. |

This little sucker should make my hunts more successfull. True story.... My buddy put me in a hot spot near a corn field and a clover patch in north east Tennesse last Archary season. He said "you'uns sit rite ere, and you'll see your self a nice'en by mid day..." He was right. A nice buck came out of the corn field and headed towards my stand - he got less than thirty yards away - and I drew my bow..... and you guessed it, I did not have this bow rest! No whisper in my draw.... that buck jump away as soon has heard my arrow scrape across my rest, he was gone. I'll field test this product this fall, and let you know how it works. |

Here is a hot item at sportsmansguide.com. For under $80 this 3 in 1 system takes care of a few needed items for my next hunt. First, 3 in 1 system give me a water proof parka, light jacket, as well as a reversable option. Also, I do not like blaze orange hunting bibs. They make me feel like an infant. This jacket is the answer! No more bibs! I also like the break up pattern. It is not as busy at the typical "trendy" camo that is out there. There have been a number of field test make regarding pattern break up, one can be seen at www.naturalgear.com. |

This case has no need for detailed explanation. I will be testing this Plano crossbow case and its crushproof design. My hunts take me out of state, well see if this is mgoutdoors "airline approved". |

Here is a good product - I look forward to testing. To many times I find to many things inside my pockets while perched up in my tree stand. This convenient well-designed pack holds everything- and has an easy fold out function for access during my hunt. It aslo has the shoulder and chest straps with swivel snaps. Plus... it has the 1-leter hygration system. |
