92 Engine Removal
We took out the engine and tranny in one piece to keep things simple. To do this, we removed all things attatched to both the engine and tranny. Exhaust, wiring, driveshaft, speedo cable, clutch cable, throttle cable and radiator were all removed prior to removal. Tranny fluid and coolant were both drained. Tech Tip: Don't forget there are wires connected to the tranny. We unbolted the motor mounts and unbolted the tranny mounts and crossmember mounts. We jacked up the tranny prior to unbolting it. After all this its a lot of hoisting and pulling. You can bolt your engine hoist to the brackets attatched to each header.
