AWARDEE, Success story now can be told, that the Town of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur under the leadership of Hon. Edgar Jamero is not only a three-time winner but also a hall famer as a child-friendly town of the Philippines. It may be recalled, that in the year 2001 & 2002 the municipality of Dumingag has been chosen national winner of the Child-Friendly Movement (CFM). The movement aims to promote children’s welfare and to uphold their rights as part of this society. For
the first time, Dumingag was acclaimed a promoter of a Child-Friendly
municipality and received one-million pesos as a prize.
