THE QUACKER TIMES.......PAGE 3

CONGRATULATIONS TO SCOTT AND VALERIE FERGUSON ON THE BIRTH OF THEIR NEW LITTLE GIRL!!!!!!!   and yes, she probably has more teeth than her dad.....

DUCKS LOSE TWO IN A ROW....
The ducks lost two game in a row this week, on the end of their five game road trip, and are currently trailing KY 1-0 at KY during the first intermission...Jason Payne has already beaten the hell out of Burnett, but Jason was assessed a game misconduct because of his jersey not being tied down correctly...HMM, PERHAPS SOME HOMETOWN OFFICIALS?  WHAT BS!!!!.Max Balmochnykh is back with the Ducks, but Jeremy Stevenson has missed the past few games with a continuation of the puck to the face injury......I hope we pull the game against KY out and whip them tomorrow..GO DUCKS  2/25/2000

DUCKS TIE, LOSE A FEW, WIN 2!!!
3/5/2000-
As the playoffs slip away, the Ducks tied Kentucky 1-1, then went on a road trip, losing some games, then returned home Friday for a homestand, beating Syracuse 3-2 in overtime, with Marc Chouinard scoring two goals....Hoop Daddy earned the win...On Saturday, a combination of great scoring and the return of Gregg to his great self earned the ducks a 4-0 victory over Providence.....
Jeremy Stevenson tallied a goal in the effort, and is recovering to a degree that he will only be required to wear a face shiled instead of the cage....
GO DUCKS

DUCKS TIE, KISS DAVIDSSON GOODBYE!! IDIOTS!
The Ducks ended their homestand by tying the Crunch, 3-3...They now embark on an 8 game roadtrip....However, the management in Anaheim made another STUPID and IDIOTIC MOVE, trading Johan Davidsson to the Islanders for Jorgen Jonsson...THIS IS STUPID...Johan is younger, better, and more driven than this Jonsson, who may not even play in the US next year.....It is typical of the stupid management by the Mighty Ducks administrators.  What is next, Selanne for Burnett?  Kariya for a has-been like Rick Tocchet, like Bob Clarke did with the Flyers?  GEEZ,it makes it hard to root for a team this dumb!!! 3/11/2000
ADDENDUM:  Ducks lost tonight at Portland, 2-1, Marc Chouinard scored a goal and Gregg Stopped 29 shots...hmm...LOOKS LIKE THE DUCKS COULD HAVE USED MORE OFFENSE, LIKE JOHAN, YOU MORONIC GM!

DUCKS ON HOT STREAK, SIGN SAAL
The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks continued a torrid month, going 7-1-1 after a 4/2 thrashing of the KY blades....Ryan Hoople made 33/35 saves and is now 5-2...Bob Wren tallied 3 assists in the effort, and the Ducks look to be geling at the right time...Jeremy Stevenson has a four game point streak, having scored a goal in the contest....The Ducks announced the signing of Jason Saal, goalie who saw some action with the SuckClones, as an insurance policy, as Gregg has been having tightness in his legs (wonder why, playing a load of games).  As you may have noticed, the QUACKER has gone to page 3, because geocities decided to play games again....GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!

DUCKS LOSE TREBIL, AUDET......
Detroit traded Phil to Phoenix, and Dan went to Pittsburgh...the Cincy team got nothing...thanks guys, for giving us a chance to make playoffs...also, the HoopDaddy was sent down, to make room for Miller....GRR!!!  SEE YA, PLAYOFFS.....

END OF SEASON, LOSS TO KENTUCKY, AND MY REFLECTIONS ON THE SEASON........
The Ducks finished the season with a loss to Kentucky, and with shattered playoff dreams...Thanks both to moronic moves by both NHL organiztions and an unfair playoff structure which favors certain teams over others....but, either way, the season is over....We have seen great games and pathetic games....However, I rate the season a success...I got to meet more players, and develop friendships with them...I got to meet so many duck fans and helped reorganize the booster club for next season, and have gained contacts within the organization.....While the W's may not have added up, the team faced adversity and built character, and that is very important as well....And, despite my earlier comments, the stuff involved with the decisionmaking had nothing to do with Moe, and I thank him for three great years in Cincy, and for always answering my questions...and also, I thank him for the incident between he and I that happened a few games ago, as his subsequent apology and mine helped me understand the system here with Anaheim and Detroit, and realize how handcuffed Moe was, and how much he tried to build a winner, only to be thwarted by idiotic Dave McNab and Pierre Gauthier at every turn...Remember the Don Biggs hysteria early in the season?  It was McNab and Gauthier who nixed it, not Moe....Hoople being sent down?  McNab again....Payne not playing?  Guess Who?  I hope (but it isnt going to happen) that Disney cleans house and fires the inept Gauthier and McNab, who are destroying two organizations, both Cincy and Anaheim....However, still, the season was a success, as even though the Ducks had a poor year on the ice, attendance went up!!!!  Also, who knows what might have happened if Bob Wren, Pete, Jeremy, and others had not been struck down with injuries?  That was a huge factor...(thanks, you idiot shawn heins, for that slash, you goon)..The culmination of the end came when Hoople was sent down, and this sent a negative message to players here that the big clubs cared nothing for winning, and left them out to dry....look at some of the guys who were never called up or very rarely (Bob, Jeremy, etc.) and some who were called up (lil Max) ...the hard workers realized Anaheim was not going to reward har dworkers, or doing your best, and was just going to call up the young stupid guys.....which they did for the most part....This got the guys down, and caused the season to snowball into nothingness.....I hope Anaheim wakes up and gives the coach the control he needs to succeed, and that Anaheim wakes up and gives gms who are knowledgable and dont walk around like they are in outer space.....but that will not happen, as Gauthier will bring in a "yesman" and we will continue to flounder...Don't blame the guys...Blame the organization, that does not reward acheivement, that does not care about winning, and doesnt know what it takes to win hockey games......I hope we do better next year, and hope we dont lose all of our guys, but regardless, i will return for the start of next season....I will update from time to time with roster moves....MOE WAS LET GO TODAY, BY  anaheim, which was expected by many fans....I will miss Moe, and challenge the next coach to match his record of players sent to the nhl....Moe was a nice guy, who was screwed by an organization that has not a clue, and I hope he does well in his next Job.....take care, Moe, and thanks again.....Well, until the next shoe drops, GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!    4/12/2000
