THE QUACKER TIMES PG. 2

More News.........
The Ducks won this past weekend against Philly, lost to Hershey, and beat Philly again....The highlight was Saturday night, seeing a familiar face back at the Gardens....Jeremy had been called up again, but now was appearing back at the Gardens...He played Sunday, where he was subject to cheap shots.....Mary got her Chouinard jersey, but i got screwed (see stunner club) out of mine by dealers....grr.....Ducks are kicking butt, baby.....12/16/99

DUCK NEWS.......
The Mighty Ducks recalled Dan Trebil to Anaheim today, Dan was among the leaders in scoring and we wish him all the best......Ducks have been on road trip...and beat Kensucky this week, 5-2...in that game, Jeremy had 1 goal and 1 assist, and burnett still refused to throw down!!!!!-12/2/99

BOB WREN PLAYER OF WEEK
The American Hockey League announced that Bob Wren has been named player of the week for this past week, his first...Bob has been a big reason for the Ducks going 2 games over .500...go Bobby, and go Ducks!!!!!-11/23/99

DUCKS TIE, BLOW LEAD
The Ducks had a 3-0 lead against Lville Friday 12/17 and blew it, ending in a 3-3 tie...All Star goalie Gregg Naumenko played well, but Dan Trebil did not live up to his All Star votes, missing assignments and leaving Joel K. alone on breakaways....Marc Chouinard scored a goal, and Jeremy Stevenson notched an assist....Sunday is Kentucky, and get ready to see some signage then....In other news, see the Stunner Club page for another article about the dealer......

WHO'S YOUR DADDY, BLADES?
The Ducks beat the Blades on Sunday, after tying Lville at Lville...The score was 5-3...The Ducks dominated the game, on the scoreboard and in any fights...Of course, Burnett was too much of a wuss to throw down with Stevenson, as was the whole team, instead choosing to cheapshot him and taunt him when he was on the bench....There was one casualty-Marc Chouinard, who was viciously laid out by Burnett....no penalty was called even though Burnett left his feet with elbows up, and nailed Marc in the head...He was taken to the hospital for Xrays, a definate concussion....The inbred Kentucky fans enjoyed this, so it was on...I guess they didn't like my "friends dont let friends be blades fans" or ways to tell if you are a blades fan signs....Most enjoyed them...It was probably because they were too stupid to read them...Anyway, Stevenson had two goals and was the star of the game.....Read more about the incident involving me and the three KENTUCKY PIGPEN WOMEN in the Stunner Club......Burnett must pay, and the AHL needs to clamp down on these goons....and the fans of Kentucky need to be able to take punishment, as they are good at dishing it out in Lexington...what, do they think they can come into OUR HOUSE and rant and rave and trash our guys?  I put up with it long enough, so the game is on!  They are just like their team, not able to take it...GO DUCKS!!!!  12/20/99

DUCKS LOSE BATTLE, WIN WAR!!!!
In the first game of the year 2000, the Ducks lost 4-2 to the Blades, however, the Ducks gained some respect when new player Jason Payne whupped cheapie Burnett in 30 seconds, causing Burnett to run with his tail between his legs...never returning to the game....The Gardens became the House of Payne as the crowd was chanting his name, and he was besieged by autograph seekers after the game, including me....hopefully, this Dayton Bomber will become a permanent fixture in the AHL with our Ducks....JS is out indefinately with a torn stomach muscle...however, he did beat the hell out of the Panthers cheapshot artist, 'whatshisname"....well, next game friday vs. hershey, and Parker will feel the PAYNE!!!  only one negative, the Blades fans revealed their racist tendencies by spouting epitets about our new acquisition...THEREFORE, DESPITE THE ADVICE OF FRIENDS, THE ASSAULT ON THE BLADES WILL CONTINUE...SORRY, UKNOWHU...BUT I CANNOT LET THEM SPOUT GARBAGE LIKE THAT....and another note, MOE, WAKE UP, AND GET YOUR DEFENSE TO HELP THE GOALIE, NOT HURT HIM....THE DEFENSE PLAY IS PATHETIC, AND NEEDS TO IMPROVE....

HE LIKES US
TO ALL THE RUMOR SPREADERS OUT THERE, JS VEHEMENTLY DENIED YOUR CLAIMS AND REAFFIRMED HIS APPROVAL OF THE FAN CLUB...HE EVEN GAVE ME A STICK, AND EVEN HIS WIFE PULLED ME AND JASON ASIDE AND TALKED TO US....TELLING US THE RUMORS WERE UNFOUNDED.
THANKS JEREMY AND SELENA FOR BEING THE GREAT PEOPLE YOU ARE.... AND TO THE RUMOR PEOPLE, I GOT  WORDS FOR YA.....IF YOU DONT LIKE ME, B*TE ME!!!!
GO DUCKS!!!!!

DUCKS WIN!!!!
After an exasperating homestand for fans, the Ducks won on Sat. Jan.29 against Lowell in a 6-3 rout, which I did not see due to bad weather.  From there, the Ducks went on to beat Kentucky on Feb. 3 at KY, 3-2 with Chouinard extending his goal scoring streak to two.  Ryan Hoople has played huge in these games, and is showing himself to be quite able in net, having won 3 of 4 decisions.  Maybe questioning Moe's leadership was the answer to getting this team turned around....who know?  Tonight the Ducks face off at home for a weekend series, on Saturday they host Albany...barring sudden snow, I will be there...the only bad thing about the KY victory is that Jeremy was injured with a puck to the face, but he is not expected to miss significant time.  go ducks!!!!!  2/4/2000

DUCK NEWS
1/19/00- Max Balmochnych and Vitaly Vishnevski have been called up to the big club...good luck guys...Jeremy remains out with his ab strain...Gregg and Bob played excellently in the All Star game, Gregg was by far the class of the goaltending for planetUSA, allowing only 1 goal during his period of play....The Ducks face Philly at home this weekend, and I hope to see you there...GO DUCKS!!!!
also, Tom Askey has been reassigned to Houston Aeros in the IHL, further proof that Anaheim has given up on him, what a shame...he could be helping us now...good luck Tommy, we will miss you!!!

DUCKS SPLIT WEEKEND !!!!!!
After a sloppy game on Friday in which the IceCats Brent Johnson shut out the Ducks 2-0, the team provided the homefans with an outstanding comeback game, scoring three goals in the final 7 min. to beat Albany 4-3...Gregg was back in net, and BOB WREN SCORED HIS 200TH POINT ON AN ASSIST AND GOT 201 ON A GOAL, WHICH I THINK WAS GW! Also, Marc Chouinard gets a salute as he iced the game by sacrificing himself for the team, taking a hell hit as he cleared the puck out of the ducks zone....and, Moe woke up and scratched Legault, but Payne was missing from the lineup again...wake up Moe, we need force!!!!  And, we wouldnt have had to comeback so much if Wallin was with Eggo boy in the stands....MOE NEEDS TO WAKE UP, THEN GET OUT FROM BEHIND THE BENCH.....EDDIE FOR HEAD COACH!!!!!!2/6/00
