Miss Dorothy Chicklins
Last month I called up Dorothy Chicklins, an aspiring fashion model, and asked her if she would like to make her modeling debut as pet of the month. She was very enthusiastic.
Unfortunatley she suffered a disfiguring accident before the photo shoot. Her face was brutally massacred in a tragic chainsaw-related incident (see gory photo gallery). But, being the determined foulette she is, Dorothy wanted to go on with the shoot.
Without further ado, I present Miss Dorothy Chicklins. Her hideous wound is only skin deep. Underneath the ugliness, this debutante is a girl of gold.
Dorothy's wants her career to be a symbol and a message to all disfigured chickens everywhere: "Whether you've been gouged in the face, fried in lard, or mechanically separated- you can still be a STAR!"
Envious of her beauty and good fortune, the Coalition of Nightmare Pets plotted to destroy Miss Chicklin's good looks. They invited her up to their headquarters to look at some "etchings." The naive bird fell for this old line, and paid for it with her face. The audacious heathens perpetrated this brutal massacre in broad daylight even!
Miss Chicklin's malefactors were perverse enough to take photos of the horrid event. This confiscated photo (above) shows the chainsaw wound in all its gory glory.
Dorothy Chicklins was undaunted, however, by her pitfall. She still gazes at fashion magazines for inspiration, and dreams of being on the cover of Vogue.
