Miss Tortoise
Miss Tortoise is an heiress and well known
socialite who resides in the south of France. This
cosmopolitan lass enjoys the finer things in life,
like furs, pate, and good amoretto. Here she is
shown poised on her favourite chair, made of
genuine leopard skin. Her daddy brings her such
furs from the wilds of Africa, and also many other
exotic treats, which he procures on his
frequent mining expeditions.
Miss Tortoise would like everyone to know that her family name is pronounced "tor-TWAH."
Miss Tortoise would also like everyone to know that she is not a snob.
