About The 1989 TMC RTS
These buses are powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V92. MTA Operates a few of these coaches. These are 1989 TMC RTS's they run on diesel and are operated out of divisions and 18. MTA Is slowly retiring all of its RTS's for Low-Floor Compressed Natural Gas buses, such as NABI's and NewFlyer's. MTA also operates 1989 TMC's 2300-2402. Some of these coaches were methanol ane ethanol powered like the 1200-1502's. These buses are like the 2000's but have the exhaust on the top left corner like the 2300's and a different vent panel than the 2000's and 4400's. |
