About the 1992 TMC RTS These TMC RTS's are the 1200-1502 series. They are powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V92 with a Allison Voith Transmission. They formerly ran on Ethanol and Methanol fuels. They broke down so they converted them back to diesel just like some of the 1900's and 23 & 2400's MTA has a large amount of thr RTS. At one point the whole fleet basicly consisted of the RTS. RTS stands for Rapid Transit Series. The RTS use to be made by GMC, then TMC took over and later Nova took over and now no one produces the RTS. These buses are 40 feet and standard floor. |
