Session 1- Day 1
The Heroes began in two placesp depending on the character.
For David, he suffered through an acid trip of surreality. Starting
in an apartment of unknown nature, everything he touched and saw was almost
real. He made himself a bowl of cereal, and just as he did- the fire
alarm broke off! In the window, the fire escape was falling to the ground,
screams of people were heard. David left the apartment and entered the corridor.
Sirens got louder, smoke and fire noises were clear now. The sounds of pets
got louder as well. David heard a dog, and decided to save a dog from another
apartment. He sucessfully did, and made headway for a falling apart stairs.
David naturally tripped with the dog, and made it safely to the bottom. He
left the building to be handled by paramedics. After refusing, the paramedic
touches his shoulder, and says "wake-up, wake-up". David woke up in a jail
cell by a Detective Ryan Patterson after an acid trip due to drug over
dose.
The other two people in the campaign- Derek and Danielle are in liquidator
shop, a single hour after David woke about from his acid trip. In the store,
the two
heroes
were browsing for electronic equipment. Ryan Patterson was here getting back
his fixed printer. After receiving a printer from the shop keeper Pierre.
A car pulls up, and three hooded thugs come out, and enter the store.
Pierre was very skeptical of these thugs, and Ryan Patterson was not paying
any attention to them. Ryan leaves the store with the printer, and just as
he does, the thugs come out and attempt to grapple him. Those attempts fail
as the men continuously hug each other due to poor grapple modifiers. Many
seconds later, the thugs retreat. Danielle copied down the thugs' car licence
plate number. Derek just stood there watching and shaking his head. Later
on, the Detective instructs that Danielle and Derek need to write witness
reports back at the station. Reluctantly Derek and Danielle go back to the
Police Station with the Detective. Meanwhile, David gets news from
his court appointed lawyer that he will be conditionally released on "Ryan
Pattterson" terms. Patterson gets everyone into the office and give a
compassionate speech about crime in Montreal and how a Celebrity's son has
disappeared, and Marie Antoinette Boulerau's offer of six million to
return her son back to her. The Chief of the precinct is also there. Patterson
offered a preposition to the heroes. Derek said "Forget it", Danielle said
"Good Luck", and David was the only person that took up the job. Patterson
speaks to Geraldine, the supply person, and she gaves him a car, keys to
handcuffs, and made up a temporary driver's liscence for him. Derek and Danielle
walk off to their perspective vehicles, and David gets his Crown Victoria.
As David leaves the parking lot with handcuffs, and attempts to drive, he
was about to crash into the wall of the precinct, just then, a cop car pulls
out with sirens, and with miraculous luck, David swivels back onto the lane
perfectly obeying every driving law-untrained. Derek decides to follow him
just in case something goes "wrong" and someone ends up "hurt". Danielle
decides to go back to her Church of St. Barthomelew.
At the Church, Marie Boulerau and Danielle's boyfriend- Alexandre Ducommage
are speaking. Alexandre is speaking to Marie, and attempting to empathize
for her. Marie is missing her son dearly, and all she has left now is her
"Lorenzo". Danielle walks up to both, and asks 'Who is Lorenzo?', without
introducing herself, and interrupting the conversation. The only paritioner
there is praying LOUDER to herself as Danielle is causing a ruckus. Shortly
after, Marie leaves for home, and Alexandre highly irritated at Danielle,
leaves for his office and slams the door. Danielle follows Marie, en route,
Danielle spots David to follow her, and David does, with Derek behind David.
The drive up the hills of Montreal and enter the area of the elite rich.
Marie goes inside and parks on her drive way. The rest of the heroes park
down the street from the mansion and go to the guards. A little squabble
of words ensues with the guards, and later the heroes get clearance. The
approach the exquisite mansion, and ring the doorbell.. They get invited
inside, Marie shows hospitality to the heroes, and says she last saw her
son roughly around 8AM, three days ago. Marie tells them, feel free to search
the house. They search and note three rooms of importance- Bar, Dining Room,
Library, and Jean's bedroom. However, they only searched Jean's bedroom and
found a diary, and love letters to a secret lover by the name of Michelle
Lancaster which coincided with his volunteerings with the Church of St Jaques
for the past eight months. The heroes leave the mansion for the Church of
St Jaques with now a limo driver driving them everywhere. At the Church of
St. Jaques, the heroes climb the steps and find Priest Albert Drummond.
He explains to them that the last time he saw Jean,
he was with another volunteer named Michelle. He last saw them together around
2pm and they left for lunch. That was the last time he saw him. He also noted
the he didn't know that Jean disappeared, as volunteers, they come when they
can and there is no schedule for these people. The heroes ask about Michelle
Lancaster, he says where she lives is confidential, but knows she lives in
the poorer part of Montreal like Longueil on the Southern tip. The Heroes
research and ask Ryan regarding her whereabouts, he gives them to her, and
doesn't want to know why. The heroes drive to Lancaster's home, get there,
and ask questions regarding her relationship with Jean. She breaks down and
cries as she explains that she will do anything to save her Jean. She also
explains that her parents, and Marie do not get along as they see the other
as out of each other's league. Lastly, she said shortly after their lunch,
they went to the park, and about 4pm she parted ways with him and she trusted
his judgement on how to get home. The heroes thank her for the time, and
leave. The heroes decide to meet at the police station around 10AM tomorrow,
and that ends the session for the day.
