Day 1
Thursday, June 3rd, 2004
This was the day where it started. It was beautiful sunny weather. The train should start at 15.38h from Dortmund to Koblenz but it was 20 minutes late so we had to wait. Two hours later we, Anni and me, were in Koblenz, a shuttlebus should bring us to the ring. After one hour in the bus we were there, then it started, the campsite search. The first was overcrowded, and the second, then we went to B5 and there we could put up our tent. In the night we tried to sleep but that was difficult because of all the "Heeeelgaaaa" on the campsite and the loud music from everywhere.

Day 2
Friday, June 4th, 2004
We got up at seven or eight o'clock and it was raining and cold, I was freezening all nicht long. Still sleepy we went to brush our teeth which cost 0,50€, have a shower cost 2,50€. At 13.30h we started our way to the festival area where we met Lolo, then we went to the Centerstage. We weren't in the pit but quite near to the stage. The first band of the day was Soil at 14.55h that I haven't heard of before and I have to say that they were really good. Then Seether came on stage at 15.40h, I haven't heard of this band before, too but they were also good, they even sang a song with Amy Lee of Evanescence, "Broken", and a Nirvana song. At 16.40h there were the H-Blockx. I knew them before and they were cool on stage. It became more narrow. Then, at 17.45h, there were Machine Head but I didn't like them much. More narrow. So I put my arms between me and the break but this was a fault because at the end of the day my arm and my ribbs were "mud". The worst band of the evening for me was Motörhead. They started at 18.55h. Every song sounded like the one before and it was crap. I almost broke my nose because of a crowd-surfer. At 20.30h there was Evanescence. They were really good though I didn't really like their version of Korn's "Thoughtless". And of course: more narrow. Then the highlight at 22.30h, Korn. It was so great! At 0.30h we were back in our tent and tried again to sleep.

Day 3
Saturday, June 5th, 2004
We got up early. At 14.00h I wanted to see Lostprophets but Anni didn't really like them so we went to the AlternaStage where we saw Hoobastank at 15.40h. They were so great and really cool and also Trapt at 16.30h, we were in the first row! Then we had a problem, I wanted to see Drowning Pool (AlternaStage/17.20h) but also Nickelback (Centerstage/17.05h). Anni wanted to see Nickelback, so we went over to the Centerstage where we stood in the 500th row, it also started to rain again. After that we went back to our tent. Later we went back to the festival area and saw Turbonegro at 22.45h which was a good idea because they are really crazy, the Village People as a punk band, gay but funny, especially the singer. Then we went back to our tent and missed the secret Toten Hosen concert.

Day 4
Sunday, June 6th, 2004
The day I've waited such a long time for. At 13.50h we saw Static X and we stood in the 3rd row, it was great, I also new almost every song they played. The drummer grinned all the time. After that we went back to our tent to prepare ourselves for the meet&greet with Linkin Park! So I missed The Rasmus, unfortunately, because we had to be at 4 o'clock at the Dorint hotel. At 5 o'clock it started, my second meet&greet with Linkin Park. Lolo gave Mike our book with all our messages in it and he liked it, I made photos and we wanted that Chester shall shout "Helga" on stage but he didn't do it. The m&g was great!!! Then we had to hurry to come back to the Centerstage, so we went into the pit and fight to get in the first row while Avril Lavigne was on stage but she wasn't that good, she was bored, the crowd was bored. But then at 19.45h Linkin Park came on the stage! This was the best of the whole weekend though it was really hot and really narrow. After Linkin Park I wanted to see Die Toten Hosen but I broke down so I missed them. Day 5
Monday, June 7th, 2004
We got up at 7.30h because we wanted to take an early bus back to Koblenz because we didn't know if there would be a traffic jam. It was Anni's 18th birthday! We packed our things and made our way to the bus. At 11 o'clock we were in Koblenz, our train came at 15.12h! So we ate at McDonald's, a McChicken, Sprite, McFlurry and a milkshake and talked about different things. At 17.21h we were back in Dortmund where my mom already waited for me. That was our adventure: Rock am Ring 2004! I'm looking forward to the next year, I hope there will be good bands again, maybe also Slipknot.
