Overdrives
In FFX, Limit Breaks are called Overdrives. They are very similar to FFVII's Limit Breaks. When a character's Overdrive gauge fills up all the way, he or she may use their Overdrive. When the character's command menu appears, press right and select the Overdrive. There are different Overdrive modes, and the characters will learn these as they progress through the game. At the first, everyone's mode is at Stoic, meaning the gauge fills up when they get hurt. It is best to observe what a character does in battle and then choose the best mode for him or her. For example, since Yuna uses healing magic a lot, set her Overdrive mode on Healer. Each character has his own unique Overdrive. Note that Aeons also have the benefit of Overdrives.
