The Night
Spike finally came back into the room, he was now wearing black baggy pants, and a dark green pullover sweater with a black 5-point star on the front, and he was wearing white socks. He walked over and sat down beside me, as soon as he sat down Balie got up and walked towards the kitchen.
"So are you going to be staying the night?" He asked.
"Well," I paused to think a minute. "I dont know I probably need to go home!"
"Why? Who do you have to go home to? You said you didnt have a boyfriend, or at least I think you did?"
"No I dont have a boyfriend, But I just wouldnt feel right, I dont know these people that well."
"To tell you the truth they will be leaving soon. All accept Dameon, Balie, and Samantha. Sam's only staying because she passed out and I dont feel like kicking her out. So you wouldnt have to put up with these normal people," a sly smile comes across his face. "Normal, yea thatll be the day. There pretty cool once you get to know them."
"I'll think about it. OK?"
"If you do want to I can take you back to your place and you can get some of your things, Or I can let you borrow something of mine for the might. Its up to you. And that is if you are staying." He sounded determined. I really didnt know, but I guess ill agree as he said its not like I have anyone to go home to.
"Ok if you just calm down I will stay!"
"Well dont sound so sad about that."
"OH sorry I was just thinking."
"OK.... I think, I'm gonna go get something to drink would you like something else?"
"No Im fine." He got up and left me sitting there on the couch. Everyone but Glenn and me were in the kitchen. I didnt know weather to follow him or stay there. I figured it would be easier to just stay there.
Soon Spike came back; he was holding a wine glass with a fine bright red liquid in it. I wasnt bothered this time I really didnt care, those type things I was beginning to get use to.
"I can lend you some of my clothes or I can take you back to your place it really doesnt matter to me!" He said as he stood in front of me.
"It doesnt matter to me!"
"I dont care either, Choose!"
"I dont care." I shrugged, he looked at me as if to say just make up your mind already. And I gave in just as he said.
"Ok come on Ill let you borrow something of mine. That is a beautiful dress and you look really good in it, but I know that it would be uncomfortable after a while." He paused for a min to think, "I hope something fits." And he motioned for me to follow him. I left my purse on the table and followed him back down the hall, that we had carried Samantha down earlier. But this time we went into the room that we heard the yelling coming from earlier.
The room was huge. On one wall was a fireplace; in front of the fireplace was a couch and love seat. The bed was on the other side of the room from the fireplace. It had its own little alcove, and the bed looked larger than a king-size bed. There were two dressers in the room; one had a large TV on it. The windows in the room were draped over in the same green curtains, as were all the others in the house. The room only had two lamps in the room and they were on the nightstands beside the bed. But the lamps werent on the room was lit by the fireplace and candles around the room. The room was relaxing and romantic.
"You can have a seat on the couch. I'll be right back." He went into a room that looked like it was a bathroom. I had a seat on the couch. I wasnt really sure what to do. These last two nights had been very confusing for me, it was a new world. But for some reason I felt as if I felt in here as if I was supposed to be here. A minute later her came back with some clothes in his hands. "You can change in the bathroom these should fit." I got up and went into the room he had just come out of. And as he said it was a bathroom a big one too. There was a huge Jacuzzi bathtub and a shower that was separate from the tub. There were two sink on the same counter. I didnt see a toilet but there were two doors on the other side so I figured it was somewhere behind the door. I closed the door behind me. I looked at the clothes he gave me, the pants were a pair of black, green, and white plaid pajama pants. And a black Shirt.
I put them on and the fit, they were just a little big but they fit, nothing to complain about. I got my dress and shoes and went back out into the bedroom. He was still out there.
"Do you have a place I could hang my dress?" I asked him.
"Yea go into the closet you can hang it up in there!"
"Which door is it?" He came over to me and took the dress.
"Ill do it for you!" I didnt know weather he thought I was stupid or what. "I got you a drink its sitting on the coffee table." I went to see what it was. There was only one on the table.
"Did you not get one for yourself?" I asked.
"No, Im gonna get me something in a little bit. Im not thirsty right now." I sat down and gladly picked up the drink. I quickly got comfortable. The fire had a warm glow to it. The candlelight was low and relaxing, a light that feels the room with this air of romance and calm.
We sat in front of the fire for a long time in silence. I finished my drink and began to get tired. I put the glass back on the table; I guess he could tell I was getting tired.
"What time is it?" I asked.
He looked around, didnt see where he looked though. "Its almost three."
"Three?" The surprise was great to me, it didnt feel that late. He got off the couch that we were sitting on and moved to the love seat.
"You can lay down if you want to." I took him up on is offer and laid down on the couch. It was so comfortable. I laid there and we talked for a while until I finally fell asleep.
