About 10 minutes later they came back inside. They all looked a little frazzled.

"What happened?" Jaques asked them when they came up to us.

"We lost that bastard. Somehow he knew we would be here, and now he is just trying to taunt us. One day we will catch him. That bastard cant run forever." Blair sounded so pissed off. I was totally confused by now, but I wasn�t going to ask what was going on it wasn�t my place.

"Somebody will explain to you later." Jaques said to Me.

"Will you quit that please. It would be different if my boyfriend was the one doing it but I don�t know you, There is a difference." I said in reply.

"I can�t help it. And anyway do you have a Boyfriend?"

"No, and I�m not looking for one at the moment." Ok I lied to him, and I think he knew too. It wasn�t that I lied about not wanting one because I do, my problem is that I don�t have the guts to do anything about it. I am scared of rejection. I've only had at most 5 guys interested in me throughout my whole life, none of those guys worked out. Seemed like something always happened. I haven�t had a boyfriend in two years. All I wanted was someone to have fun with during the day and someone to hold me and keep me warm at night. Someone to love and them love me back. I was almost crying at this point but I was able to hold it back, Jaques looked at me and I knew he had heard the whole thing, even though I didn�t say anything out loud. He didn�t comment or say anything. I needed to get out of there for a few minutes.

"The restrooms on the other side of the room, go down a hall take a right and it is the third door on the left." I didn�t even have to ask, Jaques or Spoof as everyone called him just told Me.

"Thanks. Ill be back!" And I walked off in the direction he had told me to go. It took me a few minutes for me to get there, the ballroom was full and it was hard to get through the people. Finally, I got to the hall and it was easy to find. I didn�t go because I had to go to the bathroom, I just needed to get out of there for a few minutes. He had hit a sensitive subject and I needed a few minutes away. Every time it is brought up it hits me hard.

I was in the bathroom for about ten minutes, when there was a knock on the door.

"Jasmin are you in there?" I heard Spike ask from outside the door. I went to it and opened the door and went out. "Are you OK?" He asked.

"Yea, Ill be fine." I knew he knew I wasn�t ok because my eyes were bloodshot.

"Well we are leaving. Are you going to come with us or do you want to stay at the party?"

"I think ill go with you. I don�t know anyone here but you and the others." I was trying not to begin to ramble. We walked back out into the ballroom where we met up with Dameon and Blair. We proceed out the front door where I saw Kali and Spoof waiting on us. They were standing beside a blue car it looked like a corvette. But I�m not a car fanatic so I�m not really sure.

"To your Place Spike?" Kali yelled.

"Yea!" Spike yelled back.

"K! See you there!" Kali said and he and spoof got into the car and sped off.
