How Music Communicates

Music is communication on a strong level. It is made by people who want to go public with their emotions, or what they feel about things.

Mostly, it is the lyrics of the song who express the message or meaning of the song. But a band can make their listeners feel exactly what they want them to feel. Heavy metal is a kind of rythm that can make you angry or give you a bit of an adrenalin kick. Different kinds of music can express different kinds of emotions. exc. blues, jazz, pop and r&b(rythm and blues).

Many musicians have influences in the youth. Look at Marilyn Manson, he's got a lot of fans, mostly under the age of twenty. He is a rebel, and the youth like it. They don't want to be like their parents. Also, no moms or dads can stand Eminem, but he has a lot of fans all over the world. He's rapping about whatever he want to rap about, affending all the moms and dads around the world, even his own mom.

The lyrics in a song is just like a poem. It has a motiv, theme and a hidden message. So you can analyze a song just as easy as a poem. Many of the world's greatest writers can be found in the music business. Of course, they are first of all musicians and not known for their written work.

What I'm trying to say is that; music is actually one of the strongest ways to communicate with the rest of the world. It is a great way to state what you feel about things. Either it's good or bad emotions.
