The main difference between these two world wide bands is what kinds of people they try to reach with their music.
While Spice Girls tries to reach kids and small girls also gays & perverts, Metallica tries to reach the cool average peolpe.
Spice girls and Metallica are very different bands.
 Spice Girls is a band that was put together by Virgin Records. The spice girls where average girls that this recordcompany wanted to make into superstars, these girls would serv only one mission, making money!. the "spice girls" can not be looked at ass only five peole, the so kalled "spice girls" is hundreds of unknown people that has composed the music and the songs, the songs would have only one mission , becomme hits and make money, the five girls on the cover are bearly five pretty faces selling an image. the spice girls never makes any of their songs them self, everything is just handed to them, the only thing the spice girls have to do is to sing and smile.
this way their music becomes wery unpersonal.
the spice girls does not only comunicate to their fans with their music. the spice girls sell an image more than they sell their music. the image that they sell is so called "girl power", it's the thought of ordenary girls becomming superstars over night.but one thing to remember is that fame that commes fast also goes fast. almost all the songs that spice girls has made has become hits over night, but after a few weeks on the top of the chart these songs are forgotten, for ever!. the spice girls is a band thet is made to wanish, in a few years the spice girls will grow old and their image will disapear, and the only thing left is their boring music.
 metalica is not just a group of people put together put together to make superstars over night. metallica is four exelent musicians that has worked their way to the top making great music. metallica did not get help making their songs and melodies. the metallica also sell an image, it's a mutch rugher image than spice girls, it's the image of independent gyes making their way to the top playing their own hardcore metal music with out help from a hundred different song writwers. metallica does not have to worry about growing old and ugly, because metallica will still be popular because of their music and not their good lookes and innocens.
you seldom see metallica at the top of the music charts but metallica has fans that wont leave them to follow the pop music trend. metallica is a band witch has been written about in the history books as the best metalband ever, while the spice girls can't be written about as the geatest pop band ever , because the deffenition of what good pop is changes all the time.
