registration to (3 years) M.D./M.S./M.D.S. courses January, Session 1.
Subjects : M.D.
: Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, P.S.M. Microbiology, Forensic
Medicine, Biophysics, Anaesthesiology, Radiotherapy. Patho. M.S. : Anatomy M.d.S. Prosthodontics and
operative Dentistry. 2.
Eligibility : M.D./M.S. The candidates
must have completed their one yea compulsory Rotating Internship by 31st
December. 3.
Choice : The candidate is required to
give only one choice of subject, to which admission is sought, out of the
subjects advertised. He/she will not be
considered for any other subject than what he/she has mentioned in his/her
application. 4.
Selection : The candidates will be
selected for the subject which applied for in order of merit which will be drawn
separately for each subject on the basis of the marks secured at the Admission
Test. in case of equal marks at the test the interse ranking of the candidates
shall be determined in the following order : The aggregate marks obtained
by the candidate in the IIIrd (Professional MBBS/BDS (Final) Examination. In case of candidates having
equal marks in the test as well as in the aggregate of the IIrd Professional
MBBS/BDS (Finaly Exam the mrit shall be decided on the basis of the aggregate of
all the Professional Examinations of MBBS/BDS. In case of candidates for
M.D./M.S. having equal marks in the aggregate of the qualifying examinatin also
(vice 4.2 the inter-se merit shall be decided on the basis of the marks obtained
by the candidates in the subject concerned MBBS/BDS - to which the admission is
sought. If the marks at the above
(same the date of birth would be the basis i.e. the candidate senior in the age
would rank higher. 5.
Evaluation : The paper will consist of
120 questios of 480 marks. Four marks will be awarded
for ever correct answer. If a questio nis not
attempted the candidate should put a bold cross (X) in the appropriate box in
the answer-sheet. The qualifying marks are 45%
of the aggregate. No scrutinyu/revulation of
the answer book of the test shall be allowed on any ground. 6.
General : Selected candidates will
have to execute bond on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 50/- (to be purchased
from Varanasi or any district of State of Uttar Pradesh only) before joining the
course. Private practice of any kind
shall not be permitted during the enti.e duration of the course. The admission and
continuance of registration/residency of the candidate shall be subject to the
BHU Act, Statutes, Ordinance, Rules and regulations and orders as may be
applicable from time to time and the aforesaid bond. The Registration/Admission
may be canceled without any notice if the supervisor or the Department is not
satisfied with the work and/or conduct of the candidate. The decision of the
Postgraduate Medical Board, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences,
BHU in all the matters of admission/registration shall be final and binding on
the candiddate. Only the eligible candidate fulfilling the eligibility wil be
issued the Adfmit Card for appearing in the test from the Academic Section,
office of the Director, IMS, BHU, Varanasi. It is for the candidate to see that
he/she is fulfilling all the requirements to appear at the test. If he/she is
found not eligible, the admist card will not be issed and he/she will have no
claim on the ground of coming here on any ground. The candidates taking up the
admission test will have to make their own arrangement for stay at Varanasi. No TA/DA will be paid to the
candidates for appearing in the test or for joining the course. The admit Card for appearing
in the Test shall be obtained the Director office (Acad. Section) I.M.S. BHU on
dated notified between 11.00 and to 4.00 p.m. 7. Examination fee : Rs. 150/- (Rupees one
hundress fifty only) (norefundable ) DD in favour of the director, Institute of
Medical Sciences, BHU and payable at State Bank of India, B.H.U. Branch (Code
