The Rules
Conduct
                          Player Conduct
Team Managers (team captains) are responsible for the conduct of all players on their team before, during and after the game. The team manager is also responsible for all individuals and spectators on their teams' sidelines.  Abusive or vulgar language directed towards other players, officials or spectators will not be tolerated.  These actions constitute unsportsmanlike conduct and will be penalized accordingly.

During a game, if a player is judged by an official to be playing in an unsportsmanlike manner, the official has the option of dismissing the player from the game for a period of several plays, the remainder of a half or until the end of the game.

However, any player seen THROWING A PUNCH MAKING CONTACT OR NOT, STRIKING AN OPPONENT OR TEAMMATE, SPECTATOR, LEAGUE OFFICIAL, OR ANY PERSONS ON OR NEAR THE FIELD, FOR WHAT EVER REASON, BY ANY LEAGUE OFFICIAL, BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER A GAME, ANYWHERE ON THE FIELD OR IN THE PARKING LOT, WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED FROM THE LEAGUE.

THE PLAYER DISMISSED WILL FORFEIT ALL ELIGIBILITY TO RECEIVE ANY MONIES AND/OR LEAGUE AWARDS THAT HIS TEAM COULD RECEIVE DURING THE SEASON.

Please note that this rule has been in effect since 1982. Experience has shown that it is usually the 2nd player throwing a punch in retaliation that is witnessed by the league official.

It will make no DIFFERENCE whether you're defending yourself or not, IF A LEAGUE OFFICIAL SEES IT, DISMISSAL WILL OCCUR. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

If during the game both teams are fighting, the officials will stop the game and both teams will receive forfeits. Both teams may also be suspended from further league play.
