Cloud's Rivals
Vincent Valentine - Probably the most popular rival Cloud has. Even if Tifa seems to the closest girl to Vincent, that doesn't mean anything unless you let your imaginations grow wild. Vincent is soft at heart if you ask me, he even let his lover Lucrecia go on with Hojo as long as she's safe. But Cloud and Tifa makes more sense, right?
Rude of the Turks - Rude did admit that he liked Tifa, and if you have reached Gongaga with both Tifa and Aeris, the two girls might've probably over-heard that Rude likes Tifa and Tseng likes Aeris. Anyway, I don't think Tifa would ever have anything going on between her and Rude. Just typical, Shinra vs. AVALANCHE kind of thing.
Rufus, Shinra President - Rufus is too preoccupied with his position as president in Shinra to even notice. And Tifa hates Shinra a lot, so why would she fall for the president of the very company she hated her whole life?
Tseng of the Turks - he likes Aeris. But still, he lost some points on her when he slapped her on the helicopter. But the two barely talks (Tifa and Tseng) so what's the point of pairing them?
Zack - Tifa was able to meet Zack as the tour guide to the reactor but Zack is still Aeris' boyfriend at that time, so Zack is still in love with Aeris and I don't think he would fall for Tifa that quickly. And Tifa was too upset that Cloud wasn't there to even look at Zack.
Sephiroth - Sephiroth is the enemy, and being a loyal friend to her friends, Tifa would never fall for this guy. And Tifa is too preoccupied with Cloud when she became the guide that she might not notice it much. And Tifa did admit that she sees Sephiroth as a cold person, so it's most unlikely that she ever would feel anything for him. I bet Sephiroth won't feel anything for any other girl except me *gets hit by steel chairs*, I mean...any girl for that matter. And it would've been kind of cute if only Tifa wasn't so scared of Sephiroth. Sephiroth is also cute with Aeris by the way ^_^ or me *gets hit with a thousand tomatoes* Just kidding!
Tifa's Rivals
Aeris Gainsborough- yes, her very best friend is her no.1 rival. Aeris seems to have a lot of confidence on how she flirts with Cloud, so she gets more physical contact with him more than Tifa. But still, it's what's inside that counts and I still believe that Cloud would never look at any girl if Tifa was around, unless you act so cruelly to her in your game >:| Anyway, I also believe that Aeris only liked Cloud because he reminded her of Zack. Tifa had always known Cloud eversince they were children and has always longed for him whenever he's gone.
Yuffie Kisaragi - Well, this cute little ninja girl is too busy trying to plot her stealing plans to ever take a look at Cloud, not unless you had her as a date. Anyway, there's nothing I could say against this, but like I always say before, Tifa is closer to Cloud more than any other girl.
Scarlet, Shinra weapons coordinator - The hell did she get involved?!
Pricilla, little girl from Junon who has a crush on Cloud - she's just an innocent little girl who has a crush on Cloud. Even though Cloud gave her mouth-to-mouth, he was just saving her life for cryin' out loud!
