Well the summer is upon us again, and I know some eager fans are asking each other if Melvyn is going to make a comeback. The answer is YES! We have a show scheduled with Premium for July 31 at Soupie's. This is not official, but we will getting more information soon. Check out Premium's website also for show updates.
Tuesday, September 2, 2003-
Well, Melvyn has played their last show at bogarts. They scored third place in the semifinals, but ony the top two move on. Thanks, of course, to all our fans who came to support us, it was a great last show. All of you fans who couldn't make it, Melvyn will not be seen again till this winter, since the four of us are goin in four different directions for college. Thanks a lot for the continuing support of all our fans and parents, we couldn't have done it without you.
Monday, August 4, 2003-
Melvyn is going on to the SEMIFINALS! The scores came back to day and we placed second again, which was enough to move us on. We don't have a date yet, but this show is for all the marbles, this show will get us into the finals. Consequently, we need ALL the support we can get. This last round we got 67 votes, and I KNOW we have more fans that didn't show. Keep checking for updates, we'll post our next date as soon as we know it.

Well upon entering the website you noticed our most newest update: A title page. Yeah, it may be kind of useless, but it looks pretty impressive, doesn't it? Thanks. Reminder, this saturday, Bogarts, doors open at 7:30, be there by 7:45. Tickets are $6 unless you talk to someone in Melvyn, we can get you a '$1 off' coupon, or maybe your friends have some extras. It's been a while since the site has been updated, but Melvyn has been more active this summer than ever. After our victory at Bogarts last month, we're preparing for our next show at the Quarterfinals of "The Rumble" at Bogart's. Saturday August 2nd, at 7:30 is when the show starts. Come vote for Melvyn. We'll be playing some classic originals, and be ready for something new as well. It will be a fantastic show, but we need the support. One new picture posted from Bogarts on the "Audio/Vysual" page, and also new practice photos.

Melvyn is finally done with their debut album. The CD consists of 14 original songs - so contact one of the band members if you want one. New lyrics from the songs are up under the lyrics section. Also, the band recently played in a friend's garage for his birthday. Thanks to everyone who got into it. DON'T FORGET TOMMOROW NIGHT AT BOGART'S... MELVYN IS PLAYING!!!! COME OUT, WE NEED ALL THE FAN VOTES WE CAN GET.
