12/16/01 - All right, we've got some new stuff on here that i think you'll all enjoy. You'll notice to the left there is a new section. This is where we're storing all our old news, so if you missed an update just check it out. We've also managed to get a sample recording of our hit original "Trippin' Away". It's only 1 minute of the song, and not the best quality, but hey check it out anyway!

1/26/02 - After a little bit of internal strife, Melvyn is once again ready to make some music. on Tuesday they will be auditioning for the THS Battle of the Bands, so be sure to wish them luck if you see them. They're also currently working on adding some new songs to the list, so be listening for some new sounds as Melvyn travels around. T-shirts are on their way. Lynks page is up. As you might have noticed, our guestbook sucked, so i got a new and improved one. The only bad thing is the Sign Guestbook part doesn't work yet, but if you click on View Guestbook, there is another option in there to sign, and that link does work. Hope that makes sense, sign the book, let us know how much you love the band.

1/31/02 - Right now melvyn is in the process of planning another show. We're looking for someone to host, so contact us if you want the job. We have also made a recording of our hit single "Beneath Me", and we'll post that shortly. Another project we've been working on is a documentary, made by our Manager, Tyler Sanderson. The documentary will include how we came together, our music, different shows, behind the scenes shots of melvyn creating the songs you love. This documentary is in the process of being made, talk to Tyler if you want to pre-order a copy. The price will be $15 a copy, or if you pre-order, you will get a 5 dollar discount, as a videocassette signed by the band themselves. The DVD will come out a month after the video. The release date of the video is yet to be determined.

5/1/02 - The Melvyn website is back again! Sorry to keep all you eager fans waiting, but we've been very busy. Melvyn has set up a gig at a local party. Check the Gygs section for details on that. We hope to see everyone there. Tyler is still completing Melvyn:the documentary, no release date certain on that. We have written a plethera of new songs, which will debut at next weekend's Gig.
If you plan on attending the party, and you have a song you want to hear played by Melvyn, just write it in the guestbook - we'll see if we can work it into our program.

5/14/02 - Thanks to everyone who attended our show friday, it was a blast and we hope you all had a great time. For those of you who didn't go, you missed quite a show, ending with the arrival of the police to break up the wild party. 11/4/02 - It's that time of year again. Fall sports are coming to an end, and Melvyn is ready to kick back into action. After a few intense rehearsals, we're ready to hit the road and the studios again. Beginning this week, Melvyn plans on starting some recording, and, as usual, we would be more than thrilled to play at any local parties, clubs, or other gatherings in need of some kickin' live music. So if your'e looking for some tunes at your next gathering, just contact one of the band members, or sign the guestbook. Be expecting to hear more from melvyn in no time.

12/16/02 - All you anxious Melvyn fans out there can finally break out the calender. Check out the Gygs section to read about out latest show. Believe me, hits is something u won't want to miss. Aside from that, Melvyn is working on recording and will be releasing a few demo tracks for download shortly. Got any songs you'd like to hear at the concert? 2/19/03 - The Melvyn website as we know it is under construction. We will be adding more audio/video to our website along with some never before seen pictures of Melvyn. T-Shirts are still avalible, contact one of the band members if you want one. Other than that, have a nice day and remember that battle of the bands is this Friday at Turpin High School. The show starts at 7:30 and will feature 3 other bands along with Melyvn.

2/22/03 - Melvyn would like to thank everyone who showed up to support them last night at their Battle of the Bands competition. We hoped everyone had a blast at the show, and we will try to get some pictures from the show up on the website. We did however put 2 of our songs in the audio/vysual section, so check those out... and we also have some new pictures up. Also check out our new Hystory section of the band.Thanks again for your support!!

3/31/03 - Sorry we have not updated awhile. Everyone has been really busy lately. The show at McDonald's was a huge disappointment for us because we only played one song before the police arrived. Thanks to everyone who tried to cooperate with us. As for our band name, it could be changed to "Got Busted". Have a great day, look out for more lyrics and songs.

3/9/03 - Melvyn has been practicing their new originals "She Takes The Burn" and "Love The Hurt" for their upcoming show. They are also polishing up other songs so they can hit the recording studios in the near future. Other than that, we have some lyrics to some of our songs up in the lyrics section, so check those out... have a great week.

2/28/03 - The band just learned of their victory at Turpin's Battle of the Bands this week. We feel great knowing that we have great fans that support us. Thank you! We plan to buy time in a recording studio with our prize money, so we can get a much atticipated CD out to all of our fans. Our new show will be Friday, March 21 at Andrew McDonald's house, but it is not official yet... keep your calenders open. We have a few more pictures up from the battle, so check those out.
