| Megan at Baker's Beach -- the beach I used to walk to when I was around Megan's age with my dog Nicky. I also took the girls I babysat for to this beach often, and I went to Presidio Jr. High and Washington High which were walking distance to this beach (also moved to the area) which is located in what used to be the Presidio. |

| Yes, there really are buffalo in Golden Gate Park -- in the middle of San Francisco. my dad said that one time while driving through Golden Gate Park to work (in the '60's) he had to stop for a herd of buffalo to cross the road. Apparently, they had escaped and were wandering through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco! They've been in the park since the 1940's at least. We don't know why they reside in the park... Pat got to see them on the grand tour. She also got to see my favorite tree and the Haight Ashbury. |
| And the Circle of Life continues... When we returned from our adventure on Sunday evening, I found out that Kenny and Tash finally had their baby girl, Violet on Saturday, March 18th, so Mike and I went to Stanford Hospital to greet the family -- welcome to the world baby Violet! |
