PartII

July 29, 2001: I went to Target and while I was there said, what they heck I am going to buy a pregnancy test just to see. I bought a double pack just for future use! I went home and took the test. I waited and waited but no line ever appeared to tell us it was positive.

August 1, 2001: Why I do not know, but I decided to take that extra test I had put away in my closet. It was still too early to get my cycle but hey you never know! I took the pregnancy test and waited. The more I kept staring at the test I kept thinking I saw something. I showed Jim and he said he thought he saw something. We are talking majorly faint line. Well, I immediately had to run to the drugstore to buy another test.

I bought a double pack again! I took another test but still got what looked like a really faint line. The hope was there.

August 2, 2001: First thing in the morning I took that second test. To my surprise was a very light but definate line. I was pregnant!

August 5, 2001: Jim and I had flew to Buffalo for my sister's wedding shower. I decided I wanted to take another test to assure that I was pregnant. I took another test and to my surprise it was a light but darker line then it was before. I was really excited then!

August 7, 2001: I called my Ob doctor's office and immediately got an appointment to see if they could do blood work to tell. It came back definate. I was pregnant at 4.5 weeks! I could not believe the first week we tried I was pregnant. I was so excited!

Week 5: The baby is not even an inch or even an ounce yet. But yet it is starting to form a spine, muscle tissue, and a brain.

Week 6: The baby's eyes and limbs are beginning to form. Heart contractions are starting and the nervous system has began talking to the muscle cells.
