| Jim and Melissa decide to have a baby |
| January 2001: We decided that we wanted to start to try to have a baby. Knowing that I had to have major knee surgery in May, we decided to postpone until the orthopedic doctor gave the thumbs up. May 7,2001: I had knee surgery and extensive physical therapy. July 1, 2001: The orthopedic doctor gave the thumbs up even though I still have a screw in my knee that needs to come out. He said it can wait until after I have the baby. July 1, 2001: We started trying! |
