| Week 22-The baby now weighs about 12.25 ounces and measures 7.5 inches from head to rump. The eyebrows and eyelids are fully developed. The taste buds are now forming and she now has a sense of touch. Her fingernails now cover her fingertips. I feel the baby moving more and more everyday. I definately can tell that someone is in there now! After I go for a long walk she does not move as much. I guess the constant movement puts her to sleep for awhile! |
| Week 23-The baby weighs one pound now and is more proprtioned and looks like a newborn baby minus the baby fat which has not developed yet. She measures about 8-10 inches from crown to rump. The kicks are getting stronger and stronger. Everynight at about 9:30pm she is the most active. If I lift my shirt up I can actually see her kicking from the outside. If I place the remote control from the TV on my belly, she will kick it eventually and move it! I have been eating so much lately. Everyone bringing food into work for the holidays does not help either! |
| Week 24-The baby weighs approximately 1.2 pounds now. Her hearing is well established and she can make out my voice, the beating of my heart, and my stomach rumblings. Loud noises begin to startle her. Happy 6 months little one! I actually had a extremity coming out of the top of my belly and I touched it and it was hard. I pushed it and she moved. It was neat! My belly button is starting to expand. It looks weird! |
